The VARGUS 52556 is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for right-hand internal UN threading operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Manufactured to the 3IR insert style with a 16 threads-per-inch (TPI) pitch, it carries a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process for improved wear resistance and extended tool life across a wide range of workpiece materials.
