The VARGUS 52406 is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for cutting internal UNJ threads at 12 threads per inch (TPI). The insert features a 60-degree included angle and a TiN (titanium nitride) coating applied via PVD process, which helps extend tool life across a broad range of workpiece materials. With an inscribed circle of 9.53 mm (3/8 inch) and a thickness of 3.60 mm, this is a right-hand, single-tooth insert in the standard series.
