The VARGUS 52306 is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for internal UN thread cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. Manufactured in the 3IR insert style with a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, this insert carries the VTX manufacturer grade and features a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process. It cuts right-hand internal threads at 10 threads per inch (TPI) with a 60-degree included angle, conforming to the UN thread standard. The TiAlN finish improves heat resistance and edge life across a wide range of workpiece materials, making it a reliable choice for production threading operations.
