The VARGUS 52294 is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for cutting internal Stub Acme threads on CNC lathes and threading machines. Manufactured to the 3IR insert style, it produces right-hand internal threads at 10 threads per inch (TPI) with a 29-degree included angle per the Stub Acme profile. The insert measures 3.60 mm thick and features a 9.53 mm (3/8 inch) inscribed circle. A PVD-applied TiN coating provides wear resistance and extended tool life across a broad range of workpiece materials. This insert is sold individually and is intended for use by machining professionals and CNC operators in production and job shop environments.
