The VARGUS 51448 is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for external UN thread cutting at 16 threads per inch (TPI). Built to the 3ER insert style, it features a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and a 60-degree included angle, making it suited for right-hand external threading operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. The TiN coating is applied via PVD process, providing a hard, wear-resistant surface finish.
