The VARGUS 51310 is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for external UN thread cutting at 13 threads per inch (TPI). Manufactured in the 3ER insert style with a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, this insert features a 60-degree included angle and a PVD-applied titanium nitride (TiN) coating. The VKX manufacturer grade and TiN finish work together to extend tool life across a broad range of workpiece materials.
