The VARGUS 51210 is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for cutting external NPT threads on a lathe or CNC turning center. The insert profile is 3ER style with a 30-degree included angle and a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, producing 11.5 threads per inch in compliance with the NPT standard.
