The VARGUS 30250 is a laydown-style carbide threading insert designed for cutting external NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads. Manufactured from solid carbide grade VK8 with a PVD-applied AlTiN/TiN coating, this insert delivers heat resistance and edge durability in demanding threading operations. It features a 60-degree included angle and a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, placing it in a standard size range for pipe thread applications. The MACH TT series insert is intended for right-hand thread cutting and is installed in compatible laydown-style threading toolholders.
