Installation Notes

Power down all connected components before plugging or unplugging the Toslink connector to avoid damage to the optical transceiver. Remove the protective dust caps from both ends of the cable just before insertion and store them for reuse if the cable is ever disconnected. Align the D-shaped connector key with the port before inserting and press firmly until the connector seats fully. Do not bend the cable at sharp angles, as tight bends can fracture the internal optical fiber and cause signal loss.
