The VALUE COLLECTION ZSVYL2-5 is a partially insulated, standard fork terminal designed for making secure, reliable electrical connections at stud-type termination points. Built with a copper contact and a blue vinyl insulation sleeve, this terminal accepts wire sizes from 1.5 to 2.5 square millimeters and is rated for 600 volts. The fork-style lug slips over a stud without fully removing the fastener, saving time during panel and equipment wiring. Electricians and electrical assemblers use this terminal in control panels, junction boxes, and equipment wiring where a firm, vibration-resistant connection to a number 10 stud is required.
This terminal is suited for low-voltage control wiring, light commercial electrical assemblies, and industrial panel builds. The partial insulation protects the wire barrel while leaving the fork contact exposed for direct stud contact. The blue color coding follows standard practice for the 1.5 to 2.5 square millimeter wire range, making it easy to identify at a glance during installation or inspection. It is appropriate for use in both residential and light commercial electrical work where 600-volt-rated terminations are specified.
Designed as a standard OEM-style fork terminal for use with number 10 studs in control panels, junction boxes, and electrical assemblies requiring 1.5 to 2.5 square millimeter wire terminations rated to 600 volts.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or trained electrical assemblers. Strip wire to the appropriate length, insert into the barrel, and crimp with a properly sized ratchet-style or hand-crimp tool before sliding the fork over the stud and securing the fastener. De-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage with a meter before making or breaking any termination. Follow applicable NEC requirements for terminal selection, wire gauge matching, and torque on the stud fastener.
