The VALUE COLLECTION ZRVYS2-5 is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp-style wire termination on 16 to 14 AWG conductors. The copper contact construction provides solid electrical continuity, while the blue vinyl insulation sleeve offers partial coverage to protect the wire barrel after crimping. At 1 inch in overall length and 0.335 inches in ring width, the terminal fits a No. 10 stud and suits standard lug applications across electrical, HVAC control wiring, and light industrial panel work. Installation is straightforward for any electrician or service technician comfortable with hand or ratchet crimp tooling.
This ring terminal is used wherever a secure, low-profile lug connection is needed on 16 to 14 AWG wire. Typical applications include residential and light commercial electrical panels, HVAC control boards, appliance wiring harnesses, and automotive or marine electrical systems. The No. 10 stud size is common in terminal blocks, grounding screws, and control component mounting points. The blue color coding follows standard AWG-range identification, making it easy to sort and verify the correct terminal during assembly or repair work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install ring terminal for applications requiring a No. 10 stud, partially insulated crimp lug on 16 to 14 AWG wire.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified service technicians. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any wires. Use a calibrated crimp tool rated for insulated terminals in the 16 to 14 AWG range to achieve a proper crimp - do not use pliers or uncalibrated tools, as an under-crimped lug can cause resistance heating or pull-out failure. Verify stud torque requirements per the equipment manufacturer's documentation and applicable NEC guidelines.
