The VALUE COLLECTION ZRVYL2-3.7 is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for securing copper conductors to screw or stud terminations in electrical panels, junction boxes, and control wiring applications. The terminal accepts 16 to 14 AWG wire and uses a crimp connection for a reliable, low-resistance mechanical bond. The blue vinyl insulation sleeve identifies the 16 to 14 AWG range at a glance. The copper contact material ensures good conductivity, and the terminal is sized for a No. 6 stud. Overall length is 1 inch with a ring width of 0.335 inches and a contact thickness of 0.031 inches.
This ring terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, including control circuit wiring in HVAC systems, panel terminations, and low-voltage harness assemblies. Electricians and HVAC technicians commonly use this style of terminal when terminating stranded copper conductors to grounding studs, control board terminals, and equipment chassis. The partially insulated design provides clearance for the ring to seat fully against the stud face while protecting the barrel crimp zone from contact with adjacent conductors.
Designed as a standard crimp ring terminal for use with 16 to 14 AWG stranded or solid copper conductors terminated to No. 6 studs or screws in electrical and control wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit completely before terminating or removing any conductors. Use a ratcheting or calibrated crimp tool rated for insulated terminals in the 16 to 14 AWG range to achieve a proper crimp — do not use pliers or non-rated tools. After crimping, inspect the barrel for full compression and confirm the ring seats flush against the stud before torquing the fastener.
