The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCVB75234 is a Dash 234 Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications across plumbing, HVAC, and industrial fluid systems. It measures 3.0 inches inside diameter, 3.25 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inches in cross-section thickness. The fluoroelastomer compound delivers a Shore A hardness rating of 75, a minimum working temperature of -15 degrees F, and a maximum working temperature of 400 degrees F. The round cross-section profile and low compression set make it suitable for face seal and radial groove installations. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors are the primary installers.
This O-ring is suited for use in systems handling petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic oils, fuels, and high-temperature media. Its wide chemical compatibility and low gas permeability make it a practical choice for vacuum service, fuel shutoff valves, refrigerant-adjacent sealing points, and general-purpose fluid connections in both residential and light commercial settings. The brown color is standard for fluoroelastomer compounds and aids in field identification. Sold in packages of 10, with a minimum order quantity of 1 package.
Designed as a standard Dash 234 O-ring replacement for grooves and fittings dimensioned to accept a 3.0-inch ID, 3.25-inch OD, 0.125-inch cross-section seal. Compatible with systems handling petroleum products and related fluid media. Not FDA approved — not intended for food-contact or potable-water service.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician following applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines. De-pressurize and isolate the line before removing the existing seal and installing the replacement O-ring. Inspect the groove for burrs, scoring, or contamination before seating the new ring. Apply a compatible lubricant approved for fluoroelastomer compounds — do not use petroleum-based greases in applications where the seal contacts incompatible media.
