The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCVB75022 is a Dash 022 Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring used to create fluid-tight and pressure-resistant seals in mechanical assemblies. With a 1.0000-inch inside diameter, a 1.1250-inch outside diameter, and a 1/16-inch (0.0625-inch) cross-section thickness, this round-profile seal fits standard Dash 022 grooves. The compound carries a Shore A hardness of 75, placing it in the hard durometer range. The fluoroelastomer material delivers high-temperature resistance rated to 400 degrees F and a low-temperature floor of -15 degrees F, making it suitable for demanding thermal environments. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial mechanics use this O-ring wherever petroleum-fluid compatibility and low compression set are required.
This O-ring is suited to hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-handling systems that contact petroleum-based oils, fuels, and lubricants. It is commonly installed in valve bodies, pump housings, fittings, and manifold connections across residential and commercial mechanical systems. The fluoroelastomer formulation also supports vacuum service applications due to its low gas permeability. This SKU is packaged in a quantity of 50, making it practical for shops and field technicians who need on-hand inventory of a common seal size.
Designed as a standard Dash 022 O-ring replacement compatible with petroleum-product fluid systems. Suitable for use with petroleum oils, fuels, and lubricants. Not FDA approved; not intended for food-contact or potable-water applications.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or industrial mechanics during equipment assembly or seal replacement service. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing any existing seals. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease before seating it to prevent rolling or nicking during assembly. Inspect the groove for burrs or debris that could damage the seal and compromise the joint.
