The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70910 is a Dash 910 Viton O-ring designed for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-handling systems requiring reliable sealing under demanding temperature and chemical conditions. Manufactured from fluoroelastomer, this O-ring measures 0.755 inches inside diameter, 0.949 inches outside diameter, and 0.097 inches thick with a round cross section. It carries a hardness rating of 70 Shore A. The temperature range spans -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F, making it suitable for high-heat environments where standard nitrile or EPDM compounds fall short. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and hydraulic technicians are the primary installers of this component. Sold in a package of 25.
This O-ring is specified as an O-ring boss gasket for straight-thread tube fittings, a common configuration in hydraulic lines, fuel systems, and refrigeration circuits. It is compatible with petroleum products and performs reliably in vacuum service applications. The fluoroelastomer compound provides low gas permeability, making it appropriate for systems where seal integrity under vacuum or low-pressure gas conditions is critical. Typical applications include industrial machinery, HVAC refrigerant line fittings, fuel handling equipment, and chemical transfer systems where broad chemical compatibility is required.
Designed as an O-ring boss gasket for straight-thread tube fittings. Compatible with petroleum products and suitable for use in systems requiring resistance to high temperatures and a wide spectrum of chemical exposure. Not FDA approved for food-contact applications.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or hydraulic technicians. De-pressurize and drain the system completely before removing any fittings or existing seals. Inspect the seating surface on the straight-thread boss fitting for nicks or scoring before installing the new O-ring. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or assembly lubricant prior to installation to reduce the risk of tearing during make-up.
