The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70382 is a Dash 382 Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring used as a static or dynamic face seal in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-handling systems. It measures 13 inches inside diameter, 13.375 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches (3/16 inches) thick with a round cross section. The 70 durometer hardness rating places it in the hard range, delivering low compression set and strong resistance to extrusion under pressure. Rated from -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F, it is well suited for high-temperature service environments. Plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians commonly specify this size for large-bore connections and valve assemblies.
This O-ring is designed for sealing applications that involve contact with petroleum products, oils, fuels, and a wide spectrum of industrial chemicals. Its fluoroelastomer compound also supports vacuum service and exhibits low gas permeability, making it appropriate for both pressure and vacuum system configurations. Typical installation scenarios include large-diameter flange faces, pump housings, valve bonnets, and industrial process piping where a reliable, high-temperature-capable elastomeric seal is required. Sold individually.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service seal for large-bore hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-handling assemblies requiring a Dash 382 O-ring groove profile. Compatible sealing surfaces include those that contact petroleum products. Not FDA approved; not intended for food-contact applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or industrial maintenance technician. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing any existing seal. Inspect the O-ring groove for nicks, burrs, or corrosion before seating the new ring, and apply a compatible lubricant to ease installation and prevent installation damage to the elastomer. Do not roll, twist, or overstretch the O-ring during placement.
