The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70364 is a Dash 364 Viton fluoroelastomer O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications across HVAC, plumbing, and industrial fluid systems. It measures 6.75 inches inside diameter, 7.125 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches thick with a round cross-section profile. The fluoroelastomer compound delivers a wide operating temperature range of -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F, making it suitable for high-heat environments where standard nitrile or EPDM seals would degrade. Hardness is rated at 70 Shore A, classified as hard. Licensed trades and maintenance technicians install this ring where petroleum-fluid sealing and thermal resistance are both required.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial applications involving petroleum-based fluids, fuels, hydraulic oils, and similar media. Typical install scenarios include pump housings, valve bodies, compressor covers, and flange faces in HVAC refrigerant circuits, fuel-handling assemblies, and industrial fluid lines. The round cross-section seats cleanly in standard Dash 364 grooves without modification. The fluoroelastomer material also performs well in vacuum service and low-gas-permeability applications where outgassing must be minimized.
Designed as a direct replacement for any standard Dash 364 O-ring groove application requiring fluoroelastomer material compatibility with petroleum products and high-temperature service.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or industrial mechanics depending on the host system. Depressurize and isolate the system fully before removing the old seal. Inspect the groove for nicks, burrs, or corrosion that could damage the new ring or cause a leak path. Lubricate the O-ring lightly with a compatible grease before seating to prevent tearing during assembly — do not use petroleum-based lubricants if the mating system fluid is incompatible with them.
