The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70326 is a Dash 326 Viton fluoroelastomer O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in fluid and gas systems. It measures 1.625 inches inside diameter, 2.0 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches thick with a round cross section. The fluoroelastomer compound delivers a Shore hardness of 70, resisting compression set and maintaining a reliable seal across a wide temperature range from -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F. This O-ring is well suited for licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors working on systems that handle petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic media, or high-temperature process lines. Each package contains 25 O-rings.
This O-ring is appropriate for residential and commercial service applications where petroleum product exposure, elevated temperatures, or vacuum service demands a higher-performance elastomer than standard nitrile or EPDM compounds. Typical install scenarios include hydraulic fittings, fuel system connections, pump housings, and valve stem seals. The fluoroelastomer formulation also provides low gas permeability, making it a practical choice for low-pressure gas line sealing where code and manufacturer specifications allow its use.
Designed as a standard Dash 326 O-ring replacement compatible with grooves and glands sized for a 1.625-inch ID and 2.0-inch OD round-cross-section seal. Compatible with petroleum products and a wide spectrum of chemical media; not FDA approved for food-contact or potable-water applications.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or hydraulic system technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing any existing seal. Inspect the gland groove for scoring or debris before seating the new O-ring, and apply a compatible lubricant to ease installation and reduce the risk of cutting or rolling the seal. Follow applicable codes such as IPC or IFGC for piping system reassembly and pressure testing after service.
