The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70274 is a Dash 274 Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring with a 10-inch inside diameter, a 10.25-inch outside diameter, and a cross-section thickness of 0.125 inches. Manufactured from fluoroelastomer compound at a Shore A hardness of 70, this O-ring is suited for static and dynamic sealing applications where exposure to petroleum-based fluids, elevated temperatures, and wide-spectrum chemical environments is a concern. The round cross-section geometry provides consistent compression seating across flanged, grooved, and ported interfaces. Each package contains two O-rings. This part is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and maintenance mechanics working on industrial or commercial sealing applications.
This O-ring is appropriate for sealing applications involving petroleum products, hydraulic fluids, and many industrial chemicals. It is rated for service temperatures from -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F, making it suitable for both chilled and high-temperature process piping, pump housings, valve bodies, and equipment covers where standard Buna-N (nitrile) compounds would degrade. The fluoroelastomer construction also supports vacuum service and offers low gas permeability, which is beneficial in HVAC refrigerant-adjacent assemblies and vacuum-process equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or maintenance-supply O-ring for industrial, commercial, and HVAC sealing applications requiring a Dash 274 cross-section size in fluoroelastomer material. Compatible with systems and assemblies that contact petroleum products. Not FDA approved; not intended for food, beverage, or pharmaceutical contact service.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or HVAC mechanics. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing the old O-ring; for hydraulic or chemical systems, follow applicable lockout/tagout procedures. Clean the O-ring groove thoroughly and inspect for damage or corrosion before seating the new O-ring. Apply a compatible O-ring lubricant to ease installation and prevent pinching or tearing during assembly.
