The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70146 is a Dash 146 Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring with a round cross section, designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in fluid and gas systems. It measures 2.625 inches inside diameter, 2.813 inches outside diameter, and 0.094 inches thick. Molded to a 70 Shore A durometer hardness, this O-ring delivers a firm, consistent seal under compression. Its fluoroelastomer compound provides low compression set, high temperature resistance up to 400 degrees F, and broad chemical compatibility. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration technicians install this type of seal in equipment service and repair.
This O-ring is suited for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, HVAC, and fuel-system applications where exposure to petroleum products, oils, and elevated temperatures is expected. The fluoroelastomer compound performs reliably from -15 degrees F up to 400 degrees F, making it appropriate for both residential and light commercial mechanical systems. It is also rated for vacuum service and exhibits low gas permeability, which is useful in refrigerant and vacuum-pump service scenarios. Sold in packages of 10, it is a practical shop-stock item for service professionals.
Designed as a standard Dash 146 O-ring replacement for any application requiring a 2.625-inch ID fluoroelastomer seal with a 0.094-inch cross section. Compatible with petroleum products, oils, and many hydraulic and pneumatic fluids. Not FDA approved; not intended for direct food-contact applications.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or mechanical service professionals. De-energize equipment and relieve all system pressure or vacuum before replacing O-ring seals. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or O-ring lubricant before seating to prevent tearing during assembly. Inspect the groove for burrs or debris before installation to ensure a proper sealing surface.
