The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70026 is a Dash 026 Viton fluoroelastomer O-ring used to create static or dynamic fluid seals in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial fluid-handling systems. It measures 1.25 inches inside diameter, 1.375 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick with a round cross section. The fluoroelastomer compound delivers high-temperature resistance up to 400 degrees F, low compression set, and broad chemical compatibility including petroleum-based fluids. A Shore hardness of 70 provides a firm, resilient seal. This package contains 50 O-rings, making it suitable for service stock, maintenance kits, or production applications.
This O-ring is suited for use in residential and commercial plumbing fittings, HVAC refrigerant circuits, fuel-handling assemblies, vacuum service lines, and hydraulic equipment where petroleum product exposure and elevated temperatures are a concern. The Viton compound performs reliably across a working temperature range of -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F, covering most heating, cooling, and fluid-transfer service conditions encountered in the trades. The Dash 026 designation allows direct cross-reference against standard O-ring groove specifications.
Designed as a standard Dash 026 replacement O-ring compatible with applications requiring petroleum product resistance and high-temperature performance; verify groove dimensions against inside diameter of 1.25 inches, outside diameter of 1.375 inches, and cross-section thickness of 0.0625 inches before installation.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified industrial mechanics depending on the application. Shut off and depressurize the system fully before removing any fitting or component that retains this O-ring. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid prior to seating to prevent tearing during assembly. Avoid rolling or twisting the O-ring during installation, and inspect the groove for burrs or corrosion that could compromise the seal.
