The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70022 is a Dash 022 Viton (fluoroelastomer) O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications where heat, petroleum exposure, and chemical resistance are required. With a 1 inch inside diameter, 1.125 inch outside diameter, and 0.0625 inch cross-section thickness, this round-profile ring seals reliably across a wide range of industrial and trade service conditions. The fluoroelastomer compound delivers low compression set and low gas permeability, making it a sound choice for vacuum service and high-temperature fluid systems. Each package contains 50 rings, supporting stocking requirements for service operations and shop inventories.
This O-ring is suited for HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and general mechanical applications where sealing against petroleum-based fluids, oils, and hydraulic media is needed. It performs across a service temperature range of -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F, making it appropriate for both high-temperature process lines and standard residential or light commercial equipment. It is commonly installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors in fittings, valves, pumps, and compressor assemblies that see petroleum-product exposure.
Designed as a standard Dash 022 O-ring replacement for fittings, valves, and mechanical assemblies that accept a 1 inch ID by 1.125 inch OD round-section seal in fluoroelastomer material. Compatible with petroleum-based fluid media.
Power down or de-pressurize the system and isolate the fluid supply before removing any fitting or valve that houses the O-ring. Inspect the groove for nicks, corrosion, or debris before seating the new ring. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or assembly lubricant rated for fluoroelastomer compounds before installation. Follow applicable mechanical or plumbing codes for the jurisdiction and system type when reassembling pressurized connections.
