The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV70005 is a Dash 005 Viton fluoroelastomer O-ring with a round cross section, designed for static and dynamic sealing applications across HVAC, plumbing, and fluid-handling systems. It measures 0.0937 inches inside diameter, 0.2187 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick. The fluoroelastomer compound carries a Shore A hardness of 70 and is rated for service from -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors install these seals wherever a small-diameter, high-temperature-resistant O-ring is required in petroleum-fluid or chemical-exposure environments.
This O-ring is suited for use in residential and light commercial applications where exposure to petroleum products, hydraulic fluids, fuels, or elevated temperatures is expected. The Dash 005 designation makes it a standard size recognized across valve bodies, fittings, and fluid-control components in refrigeration, plumbing, and general mechanical assemblies. It is sold in a package quantity of 100, making it practical for service shops and supply-room stock. The black color and round cross section simplify visual inspection and groove fitment verification during installation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service-stock O-ring for applications requiring a Dash 005 round-cross-section fluoroelastomer seal compatible with petroleum products and high-temperature environments.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanical contractor. De-energize and depressurize the system fully before removing any fitting or valve assembly. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid before seating it in the groove to avoid twisting or nicking the seal. Inspect the groove for scoring or debris before installation, as surface damage is a leading cause of seal failure.
