The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCV1.5X13 is a round cross-section Viton O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in fluid and gas systems. Made from fluoroelastomer, this O-ring measures 13 mm inside diameter, 16 mm outside diameter, and 1.5 mm in cross-section thickness. It carries a hardness rating of 75 Shore A, placing it in the hard durometer range. Fluoroelastomer construction provides strong resistance to petroleum-based fluids, high operating temperatures, and a broad spectrum of chemicals. The material also supports vacuum service with low gas permeability. Licensed trades and maintenance professionals install this type of O-ring in hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and process fluid systems.
This O-ring is well suited for sealing applications where exposure to petroleum products, fuels, oils, or elevated temperatures is expected. The rated working temperature range of -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F makes it appropriate for both high-heat industrial environments and typical HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical service applications. The round cross-section profile fits standard O-ring grooves sized for a 13 mm ID, 16 mm OD, 1.5 mm cross-section seal. Each package contains 25 O-rings, making this suitable for technicians who replace seals regularly in the field or during scheduled maintenance.
Designed for use in applications involving petroleum products, fuels, oils, and process fluids where a fluoroelastomer seal rated to 400 degrees F is required. Fits standard O-ring grooves dimensioned for a 13 mm ID, 16 mm OD, and 1.5 mm cross-section.
O-ring installation is performed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, hydraulic system technicians, and industrial maintenance trades. Depressurize and drain the system completely before replacing any O-ring seal. Inspect the groove for nicks, burrs, or corrosion before seating the new O-ring, and ensure the groove dimensions match the O-ring cross-section. Avoid twisting or pinching the O-ring during installation, as distortion can cause immediate or premature seal failure.
