The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCU70212 is a Dash 212 polyurethane o-ring with a round cross section, designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid handling systems. It measures 0.875 inches inside diameter, 1.125 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inches thick. The material is rated at 70 Shore A hardness, placing it in the hard hardness category. Operating temperature range runs from -60 degrees F to 200 degrees F. Polyurethane construction provides strong resistance to petroleum oils, hydrocarbon fuels, ozone, oxygen, and general weathering, making it a dependable choice for many trade and industrial sealing jobs.
This o-ring is suited for residential and light commercial fluid system maintenance and repair work, including hydraulic lines, fuel system fittings, and pneumatic components where petroleum-based media are present. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and equipment service technicians regularly use Dash 212 o-rings as replacement seals at fittings, valves, and couplings. It is not recommended for use with acids, ketones, or chlorinated hydrocarbons. Some polyurethane compounds are also sensitive to water and humidity exposure over extended service periods, so verify compatibility with the specific fluid environment before installation.
Designed as a standard Dash 212 replacement o-ring for use in systems where petroleum oils and hydrocarbon fuels are the primary media, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel handling assemblies requiring a 0.875-inch inside diameter seal.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician. De-energize and depressurize the system fully before removing any fittings or seals. Inspect the sealing groove and mating surfaces for damage or contamination before seating the new o-ring. Avoid twisting or stretching the o-ring during installation, and confirm fluid compatibility before returning the system to service.
