The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCTST120 is a Dash 120 PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications across a wide range of industrial and mechanical systems. It features a rectangular cross section, an inside diameter of 1.2 inches, an outside diameter of 1.192 inches, and a thickness of approximately 0.047 inches. The durometer hardness rating is 55, placing it in the medium hardness range. PTFE construction provides exceptional chemical resistance and a broad service temperature range of -65 to 500 degrees F, making it suitable for use with aggressive fluids, gases, and high-heat environments where standard nitrile or silicone compounds would fail. Each package contains 25 rings.
This O-ring is suited for plumbing, HVAC, chemical processing, and general mechanical assembly applications where dimensional precision and chemical inertness are required. The Dash 120 designation conforms to standard O-ring sizing conventions, allowing direct cross-reference and replacement use in grooved seal housings, valve bodies, fittings, and fluid system components that call for a 1.2-inch ID ring. Technicians working on systems handling acids, solvents, refrigerants, or high-temperature fluids commonly specify PTFE-compound rings for this reason.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service replacement O-ring for any application requiring a Dash 120 sized seal with a 1.2-inch inside diameter and PTFE material compatibility.
O-ring installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the sealing system being serviced. Depressurize and isolate the fluid circuit before disassembly. Inspect the groove and mating surfaces for burrs, scoring, or contamination prior to installation. Avoid twisting or overstretching the ring during installation; PTFE compounds have lower elasticity than rubber-based materials and are more susceptible to permanent deformation if mishandled.
