The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCTST115 is a Dash 115 PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) O-ring packaged in a quantity of 50. It has a 0.702 inch inside diameter, a 0.875 inch outside diameter, and a rectangular cross-section measuring 0.047 inches thick. The PTFE compound gives this O-ring a wide service temperature range of -65 to 500 degrees F, making it suitable for applications where standard nitrile or EPDM compounds fall short. With a medium durometer hardness rating of 55, it maintains a reliable seal under moderate compression. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance professionals use this type of O-ring in fluid and gas sealing applications requiring chemical resistance.
This O-ring is suited for use in plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and light industrial systems where chemical compatibility and broad temperature tolerance are required. PTFE O-rings are commonly installed in valve bodies, fittings, manifold connections, and other sealing points where petroleum-based elastomers are not acceptable. The rectangular cross-section provides consistent seating in standard Dash 115 grooves. The 50-piece pack supports service stock and production environments where multiple seals may be replaced at once.
Designed as a standard Dash 115 O-ring replacement for any application requiring a PTFE seal with a 0.702 inch inside diameter and 0.875 inch outside diameter in a rectangular cross-section groove.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the system being serviced. Depressurize and isolate the fluid or gas circuit completely before removing the old O-ring or installing the new one. Avoid using sharp tools that can nick the sealing surfaces or the O-ring itself, as PTFE is less elastic than rubber compounds and requires careful handling during installation. Verify groove dimensions match Dash 115 specifications before installation to ensure proper compression and seal integrity.
