The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCS70FDA211 is a Dash 211 silicone O-ring designed for sealing applications that demand a wide operating temperature range and reliable performance in dry heat environments. Manufactured from 70-durometer red silicone, this O-ring measures 0.796 inches inside diameter and 1.062 inches outside diameter with a round cross section 0.125 inches thick. It carries FDA compliant material certification, making it suitable for food-contact and sanitary process applications. Licensed tradespeople in plumbing, HVAC, and process piping rely on this O-ring for static and low-pressure dynamic seals where silicone outperforms standard nitrile or EPDM compounds.
This O-ring is well suited for residential and light commercial plumbing fittings, HVAC equipment seals, food-service equipment, and industrial fluid-handling components where exposure to oils, chemicals, solvents, ozone, and weather conditions is expected. The Dash 211 designation is a standard AS568 size, so it fits grooves engineered to that specification. Each package contains 50 O-rings, supporting service fleets, shop stock, and production line use. The silicone compound performs from -80 degrees F to 450 degrees F, covering most HVAC and plumbing service temperature ranges without degradation.
Designed as a standard Dash 211 replacement O-ring for any groove machined to AS568 Dash 211 specifications, including plumbing fittings, HVAC equipment ports, food-service components, and industrial fluid-handling assemblies where silicone compound is specified.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or industrial maintenance technicians. Always depressurize and de-energize the system before replacing any O-ring seal. Inspect the mating groove for burrs or debris before seating the O-ring; a damaged groove will cause premature seal failure. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants with silicone O-rings unless confirmed compatible with the system fluid — use a silicone-safe assembly lubricant instead.
