The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCQH70111 is a Dash 111 X-profile o-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) with a 70 Shore A durometer rating. It measures 0.438 inches inside diameter, 0.625 inches outside diameter, and 0.0937 inches thick. The X-profile cross section — also called a quattro or four-lobed profile — provides improved sealing stability and reduced rolling in the gland compared to standard round-section o-rings. This part is suited for static and dynamic sealing applications in fluid and pneumatic systems across HVAC, plumbing, and general industrial maintenance.
This o-ring fits sealing applications that require a Dash 111 size in the inch measurement system. The NBR compound handles petroleum-based oils, fuels, and water-based fluids well, making it a common choice in refrigeration service valves, hydraulic fittings, plumbing shutoff assemblies, and pneumatic tool connections. The rated temperature range of -30 degrees F to 250 degrees F covers the majority of residential and light commercial service conditions. Sold in a package of 100, it is appropriate for shops and field technicians who replace o-rings in volume. Note that this part is not FDA approved and should not be used in food-grade or potable-water-contact applications without verifying local code compliance.
Designed as a standard Dash 111 inch-series o-ring replacement for static and dynamic sealing applications in HVAC service valves, plumbing fittings, pneumatic assemblies, and hydraulic connections where an X-profile NBR compound is specified.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or maintenance mechanics during valve service or fitting assembly. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing the existing o-ring, and verify the gland dimensions match Dash 111 specifications before installation. Apply a compatible o-ring lubricant sparingly to ease installation and avoid pinching or twisting the cross section in the groove. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants with incompatible elastomers, and confirm the fluid media is compatible with NBR before installation.
