The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCQH70006 is a Dash 006 O-ring with an X-profile cross section, manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) at a 70 Shore A durometer rating. It measures 0.125 inches inside diameter, 0.250 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick. The X-shaped cross section provides four-lobe contact sealing, which can reduce spiral twist and improve seal stability in dynamic or reciprocating applications compared to a standard round cross section. NBR compound offers solid resistance to petroleum-based oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids, making this O-ring a common choice in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and fluid-system service work. Each package contains 100 pieces.
This O-ring is suited for use in low-pressure fluid and gas sealing applications across residential and light commercial systems. Typical installations include valve stems, fittings, refrigerant service ports, hydraulic couplings, and pump housings where a Dash 006 size is specified. The NBR material performs across a working temperature range of -30 degrees F to 250 degrees F, covering most standard HVAC and plumbing service conditions. Technicians working on refrigerant circuits, water valves, or oil-wetted assemblies will find this size and material combination applicable to a wide range of field repairs and rebuilds.
Designed as a standard Dash 006 replacement O-ring for any application calling out that dash number in NBR with a 70 Shore A hardness rating and an X cross section profile.
O-ring installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and fluid-system mechanics depending on the application. Always depressurize and lock out the system before removing any fitting or valve that retains this seal. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible lubricant — use only lubricants rated for NBR and compatible with the system fluid — before seating it to prevent tearing during assembly. Do not overstretch the O-ring during installation; if the ring shows nicks, cuts, or flat spots, discard it and use a new one from the pack.
