The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90918 is a Dash 918 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), the most widely used elastomer in fluid sealing applications. It measures 1.355 inches inside diameter, 1.587 inches outside diameter, and 0.116 inches thick with a round cross section. Rated at 90 durometer (extra hard), this O-ring delivers excellent compression set resistance along with strong tear and abrasion resistance. It is compatible with petroleum-based fluids and performs across a temperature range of -40 to 250 degrees F. Licensed trades and maintenance professionals install this seal in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-handling assemblies where a firm, reliable seal is required.
This O-ring is suited for use in residential and commercial mechanical systems involving petroleum-product fluid circuits, including hydraulic lines, fuel systems, and pneumatic fittings. Its Buna-N construction makes it a standard choice in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial maintenance applications where exposure to oils, fuels, and lubricants is expected. The part ships in a package quantity of 100, making it practical for shop stock, service vans, or bench-level repair work. It should not be stored in direct sunlight or near motors or other electrical equipment that may generate ozone, as ozone exposure degrades NBR compounds over time.
Compatible with petroleum products including oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or maintenance seal for any Dash 918 O-ring application in hydraulic, pneumatic, or fuel-handling systems.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or industrial maintenance technicians. Always depressurize and isolate the fluid circuit before removing or installing any O-ring seal. Inspect the seating groove for burrs or contamination before installing a new ring. Avoid stretching the O-ring beyond the minimum necessary to seat it, and do not expose it to ozone-generating equipment during storage or service.
