The Value Collection ZMSCH90365 is a Dash 365 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), the most widely used elastomer in industrial and fluid-handling sealing applications. It measures 6.975 inches inside diameter, 7.375 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches (3/16 inches) cross-section thickness. The compound is rated at 90 durometer, placing it in the extra-hard hardness range. Buna-N offers excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids along with strong compression set, tear resistance, and abrasion resistance. This O-ring carries a continuous operating temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a broad range of fluid system service conditions. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical tradespeople install this type of seal in pump housings, valve assemblies, pipe unions, and related fluid-handling equipment.
This O-ring is appropriate for use in both residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems where petroleum-based fluids, oils, or fuels are present. Its Buna-N compound is compatible with a wide range of petroleum products including mineral oils, hydraulic fluids, and diesel fuels. The Dash 365 designation follows standard O-ring sizing nomenclature as defined by SAE and MIL-Spec standards. This product is sold in a package quantity of 10 units, with a minimum order quantity of 1 package, making it practical for both single-repair jobs and bench stock replenishment.
Designed as a standard Dash 365 O-ring replacement compatible with petroleum products and mineral oil-based fluid systems. Not recommended for use with ozone, strong oxidizing agents, ketones, esters, or direct sunlight exposure during storage. Not FDA approved.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanical tradesperson familiar with fluid-system sealing procedures. Depressurize and drain the system and isolate all fluid sources before removing the old seal. Inspect the gland groove for scoring or wear before seating the new O-ring, and avoid rolling or twisting the ring during installation. Do not store Buna-N O-rings near motors, electrical equipment, or in direct sunlight, as ozone exposure degrades the elastomer.
