The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90351 is a Dash 351 O-ring manufactured from Buna-N (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), one of the most widely used elastomers in fluid sealing applications. It measures 4.75 inches inside diameter, 5.125 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches in cross-section thickness, with a round cross-section profile. Rated at 90 durometer (extra hard), it delivers excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids along with strong compression set characteristics and good tear and abrasion resistance. The operating temperature range spans -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Installation is performed by maintenance technicians, millwrights, and hydraulic system specialists across a wide range of industrial and fluid-handling applications.
This O-ring is suited for static and dynamic sealing in hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic assemblies, pumps, valves, and pipe fittings where petroleum-product compatibility is required. The Buna-N compound makes it appropriate for use with oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids commonly encountered in industrial machinery, HVAC equipment, and fluid-power systems. The Dash 351 designation conforms to standard O-ring sizing, making it a straightforward replacement in any application calling for that dash number. Sold in a package quantity of 10 per order.
Compatible with petroleum products including oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids. Meets SAE and MIL-Spec standards for Dash 351 O-ring sizing. Not recommended for exposure to direct sunlight during storage or placement near ozone-generating equipment such as motors or electrical devices.
O-ring installation is typically performed by qualified technicians or maintenance personnel. Before servicing any assembly, depressurize the system completely and isolate all fluid or pneumatic supply lines. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease prior to seating to prevent pinching or tearing during installation. Inspect the mating groove for burrs, corrosion, or dimensional damage before fitting the new seal.
