The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90213 is a Dash 213 Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N) O-ring rated at 90 durometer for extra-hard sealing performance. It measures 0.938 inches inside diameter, 1.188 inches outside diameter, and 0.125 inches thick with a round cross-section profile. This O-ring is designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in systems that handle petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic oil, and similar media. It operates across a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-power mechanics install this type of seal during equipment service and assembly.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial applications involving petroleum product exposure, including hydraulic systems, fuel-handling assemblies, pneumatic fittings, and general plumbing connections. The 90-durometer hardness rating makes it a practical choice where higher extrusion resistance is needed under pressure. Buna-N is the most widely used O-ring elastomer in the trades, and this Dash 213 size is a common fit across a broad range of fittings, valves, and pump housings. The package contains 50 pieces per unit, making it appropriate for shop stock or multi-unit service calls.
Compatible with petroleum products, hydraulic oils, and similar fluid media. Designed as a standard Dash 213 O-ring replacement for use in fittings, valves, pumps, and assemblies that call for a Buna-N seal at this cross-section. Not recommended for exposure to ozone, direct sunlight during storage, or environments near motors or electrical equipment that generate ozone.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or fluid-power mechanics during system service or assembly. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing or replacing O-rings. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or grease before seating to avoid tearing during installation. Do not stretch the O-ring beyond its designed groove dimensions, and inspect the groove for burrs or damage before seating the new seal.
