The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90141 is a Dash 141 Buna-N (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications across plumbing, hydraulic, and fluid-handling systems. It measures 2.313 inches inside diameter, 2.5 inches outside diameter, and 0.0937 inches thick with a round cross section. Rated at 90 durometer (extra hard), this O-ring maintains its seal across a wide service temperature range of -40 to 250 degrees F. Each package contains 50 pieces. Buna-N is the most widely used O-ring elastomer in trade applications and is the standard choice wherever petroleum-based fluids are present.
This O-ring is suited for use in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant-side fittings, hydraulic circuits, pneumatic assemblies, and general industrial fluid systems where petroleum product compatibility is required. Its high durometer rating makes it appropriate for higher-pressure applications and situations requiring extra resistance to compression set and mechanical wear. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance mechanics commonly stock Dash 141 O-rings as a replacement seal for fittings, valves, pumps, and manifolds of this bore size.
Compatible with petroleum products, hydraulic oils, fuels, and similar fluid media. Designed as a standard Dash 141 O-ring replacement for any groove dimensioned to accept a 2.313-inch ID by 2.5-inch OD by 0.0937-inch thick round-cross-section seal. Not FDA approved; not intended for food-contact or potable-water applications without independent verification. Keep stored away from direct sunlight and ozone-generating equipment such as motors and electrical machinery.
O-ring installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or mechanical tradesperson familiar with the specific system being serviced. Depressurize and drain the system completely before removing the old seal. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible lubricant prior to seating to prevent tearing during installation. Inspect the groove for burrs, corrosion, or dimensional damage before installing the new seal.
