The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90037 is a Dash 037 O-ring made from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), the most widely used elastomer in fluid sealing applications. It measures 2.5 inches inside diameter, 2.625 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick with a round cross section. Rated at 90 durometer (extra hard), this O-ring delivers strong resistance to compression set, tear, and abrasion. It performs across a temperature range of -40 to 250 degrees F and is compatible with petroleum-based fluids. Sold in a package of 50. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and maintenance mechanics install these in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-handling systems.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial applications wherever a Dash 037 Buna-N seal is specified. Typical install scenarios include hydraulic fittings, fuel system connections, refrigerant service ports, and general plumbing unions. Its compatibility with petroleum products makes it a standard choice for oil, fuel, and many hydraulic fluid environments. It meets SAE and MIL-Spec standards, making it appropriate for both general trade work and more demanding industrial maintenance tasks. The package quantity of 50 supports service van stocking and bench repair operations.
Compatible with petroleum products, hydraulic oils, fuels, and many mineral-based fluids. Designed as a standard Dash 037 replacement O-ring for any application specifying a Buna-N seal of this cross-section size. Not recommended for use with ozone exposure, direct sunlight storage, or near motors and electrical equipment that may generate ozone.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or hydraulic system mechanics. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing the old O-ring and seating the replacement. Inspect the groove and mating surfaces for nicks or scoring before installing. Lightly lubricate with a compatible fluid or O-ring lubricant to ease installation and prevent damage during assembly.
