The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90035 is a Dash 035 Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N) O-ring with a 2.25-inch inside diameter, 2.375-inch outside diameter, and a cross-section thickness of 0.0625 inches (1/16 inch). Rated at 90 durometer (extra hard), this O-ring is engineered for high-compression sealing applications where firm resistance to deformation is critical. It carries a working temperature range of -40 to 250 degrees F and is compatible with petroleum-based fluids. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors regularly specify Buna-N O-rings for sealing refrigerant fittings, hydraulic connections, fuel lines, and water system components. Sold in a pack of 100 units.
Buna-N is the most widely used O-ring elastomer in trade applications. This O-ring is suited for use in residential and commercial HVAC systems, plumbing assemblies, hydraulic equipment, and pneumatic fittings where petroleum-based fluid exposure is expected. The 90-durometer hardness makes it appropriate for high-pressure sealing scenarios where softer elastomers would extrude or deform under load. Typical installation scenarios include pump seals, valve stems, union connections, and compression fittings across plumbing and mechanical systems.
Designed for use in standard Dash 035 O-ring grooves. Compatible with petroleum-based fluids and media in HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic applications. Not FDA approved; not intended for food-contact applications.
Always de-energize or shut down the system and relieve all line pressure before replacing O-rings in hydraulic, pneumatic, or refrigerant circuits. Inspect the mating groove for burrs or wear before seating the new O-ring. A light application of compatible lubricant aids seating and reduces the risk of nicking during assembly. Store unused O-rings away from direct sunlight, ozone sources, and electrical equipment that may generate ozone, such as motors.
