The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH90032 is a Dash 032 Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N) O-ring with a 1.875-inch inside diameter, 2-inch outside diameter, and a 0.0625-inch (1/16-inch) cross-section thickness. Rated at 90 durometer, this extra-hard O-ring delivers excellent compression set resistance along with strong tear and abrasion resistance. The Buna-N elastomer compound offers reliable sealing in petroleum-based fluid environments, making it a standard choice for HVAC, plumbing, and hydraulic service applications. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors reach for this O-ring when servicing fluid-handling equipment where petroleum product exposure is expected.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial applications involving petroleum-based oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids. Typical install scenarios include valve seats, pump housings, fittings, and fluid connectors in HVAC refrigerant circuits, plumbing assemblies, and general mechanical systems. The -40 to 250 degrees F operating temperature range covers most HVAC and plumbing service conditions. These are sold in a package quantity of 100, making them practical for shop stock or fleet service operations where multiple seals are replaced routinely.
Compatible with petroleum products including oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids. Designed as an OEM-style replacement Dash 032 O-ring for use in HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, and general mechanical assemblies where Buna-N seals are specified. Not recommended for ozone, sunlight, or electrical equipment exposure during storage.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or mechanical contractors as part of valve, pump, or fitting service. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing the old O-ring to prevent fluid release. Inspect the groove for damage or debris before seating the new O-ring, and avoid rolling or twisting the seal during installation. Follow applicable codes such as the IPC or IFGC when servicing fluid systems in regulated environments.
