The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70MD327 is a Dash 327 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR), the most widely used elastomer in sealing applications. It measures 1.725 inches inside diameter, 2.125 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches in cross-section thickness. The round cross-section profile seats consistently in standard O-ring grooves. With a Shore A hardness of 70, it delivers a firm, resilient seal suited for hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-handling assemblies. Operating temperature range spans -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it compatible with a broad range of service environments. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial mechanics install this type of seal across refrigerant fittings, water lines, and petroleum-service components.
This O-ring is intended for use in systems that handle petroleum-based fluids, oils, fuels, and hydraulic media. It is a standard fit for residential and commercial HVAC equipment, plumbing fixtures, pump assemblies, and hydraulic cylinders where a Dash 327 groove profile is specified. NBR compound provides excellent resistance to petroleum products as well as good compression set, tear resistance, and abrasion resistance. It is not intended for use with ozone-generating environments, strong acids, or aromatic solvents. Sold in a package quantity of two.
Designed for use in any application specifying a Dash 327 O-ring groove profile with compatibility for petroleum products, oils, and hydraulic media. Confirm groove dimensions against 1.725 inches ID and 0.1875 inches cross-section before installation.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or qualified mechanics depending on the system type. Always de-energize equipment, relieve system pressure, and isolate the fluid supply before removing the existing seal. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or O-ring lubricant prior to seating to reduce installation stress and prevent tearing. Do not store NBR O-rings in direct sunlight or near motors and other electrical equipment that may generate ozone, as ozone exposure degrades NBR elastomer.
