The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70FDA332 is a Dash 332 O-ring made from Buna-N (nitrile butadiene rubber) with an FDA-approved white compound, designed for sealing applications in fluid and pneumatic systems. It measures 2.375 inches inside diameter, 2.75 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches thick with a round cross section. Rated for use between -40 degrees F and 250 degrees F, it carries a hard (70 durometer) hardness rating and meets SAE and MIL-Spec standards. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors install this O-ring in systems where petroleum-fluid compatibility and compression-set resistance are critical.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant circuits, hydraulic assemblies, and pump sealing applications where contact with petroleum-based fluids is expected. The Buna-N elastomer is the most widely used O-ring material in trade work, and the FDA-approved white compound extends suitability to potable water and food-adjacent service lines. It is sold in packages of 10, making it practical for service kits and bench stock. Each ring conforms to Dash 332 standard dimensions, ensuring dimensional interchangeability across AS568 standardized fittings and ports.
Compatible with petroleum products, hydraulic fluids, and potable water systems. Designed as a standard Dash 332 replacement O-ring for use in AS568-dimensioned fittings, valves, pumps, and fluid-handling components where Buna-N elastomer is specified.
O-ring installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanic after fully depressurizing and isolating the system being serviced. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid or assembly lubricant before seating to prevent tearing during installation. Do not stretch the O-ring beyond the minimum required for installation, and inspect the mating groove for nicks or burrs that could damage the sealing surface. Store unused rings away from direct sunlight, ozone sources, and electrical equipment that may generate ozone.
