The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70FDA017 is a Dash 017 O-ring manufactured from Buna-N (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), the most widely used elastomer in fluid-sealing applications. It measures 0.676 inches inside diameter, 0.812 inches outside diameter, and 0.0625 inches thick with a round cross section. Hardness is rated at 70 Shore A, placing it in the hard hardness range. This O-ring carries FDA approval, making it suitable for food-processing, potable-water, and sanitary fluid systems in addition to standard HVAC, plumbing, and industrial applications. Each package contains 25 pieces. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and maintenance technicians working on sealing joints, fittings, and valves.
Buna-N O-rings are a standard sealing solution across residential and commercial systems. This Dash 017 size fits common fittings and valve bodies in refrigeration, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing assemblies. The FDA-approved white compound makes it a direct choice for potable-water plumbing, food-grade fluid lines, and sanitary process equipment. It performs reliably from -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, covering most HVAC refrigerant piping, domestic water, and low-pressure gas applications. The 25-piece pack is suited for service trucks and maintenance shops that replace O-rings routinely during valve repair, fitting assembly, or equipment rebuild work.
Compatible with petroleum products and petroleum-based fluids. Designed as a Dash 017 standard O-ring replacement for fittings, valves, and assemblies requiring a 0.676-inch ID round-cross-section seal in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, hydraulic, and food-grade fluid systems. Per manufacturer notes, store away from direct sunlight and sources of ozone such as motors and electrical equipment.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified maintenance personnel. De-pressurize and isolate the system before removing any fitting or valve containing the O-ring. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible lubricant before seating to prevent pinching or tearing during assembly. Inspect the groove and mating surfaces for damage before installing the replacement seal.
