The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70910 is a Dash 910 Buna-N (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) O-ring designed for use in fluid sealing applications across HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. With an inside diameter of 0.755 inches, an outside diameter of 0.949 inches, and a cross-section thickness of 0.097 inches, this round-profile ring delivers reliable static and dynamic sealing performance. Rated at 70 Shore A hardness, it offers a firm, durable seal with excellent compression set resistance. Buna-N is the most widely used O-ring elastomer for petroleum-based fluid service, making this part a standard choice for technicians working with oil, fuel, and hydraulic circuits.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial applications wherever a Dash 910 size is specified. It functions as an O-Ring Boss gasket for straight-thread tube fittings, commonly found in refrigerant-side service ports, hydraulic line connections, fuel system fittings, and plumbing shutoff assemblies. The temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F covers a broad range of HVAC and fluid-handling environments. Each package contains 100 pieces, making it practical for stocking service vehicles or shop inventory.
Compatible with petroleum products and petroleum-based hydraulic fluids. Specified for use as an O-Ring Boss gasket for straight-thread tube fittings where a Dash 910 size is required. Not FDA approved; not intended for food-contact or potable-water applications. Should not be stored in direct sunlight or near motors or electrical equipment that may generate ozone.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or hydraulic system mechanics. De-energize the system and relieve all fluid pressure before removing or replacing O-rings in any pressurized circuit. Inspect the mating groove and fitting threads for damage or contamination before seating the new ring. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid prior to installation to prevent tearing during assembly.
