The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70359 is a Dash 359 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), one of the most widely used elastomers in fluid sealing applications. It features a 5.75-inch inside diameter, a 6.125-inch outside diameter, and a 3/16-inch (0.1875-inch) round cross section with a 70 durometer hardness rating. This O-ring delivers excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids, good compression set characteristics, and solid tear and abrasion resistance. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and maintenance mechanics wherever a reliable static or dynamic seal is required in petroleum-compatible fluid systems.
The ZMSCH70359 is suited for use in residential and commercial HVAC equipment, plumbing assemblies, hydraulic systems, and general industrial fluid-handling applications where petroleum products, oils, or fuels are present. Its operating temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F makes it appropriate for a wide range of ambient and process conditions. Sold in a package quantity of five rings, making it practical for service calls that may require multiple replacements in a single job.
Compatible with petroleum products, hydraulic oils, and fuels per the manufacturer material specification. Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service O-ring for applications requiring a Dash 359 cross-section size in Buna-N elastomer. Store away from direct sunlight, ozone sources, and electrical equipment that may generate ozone to preserve elastomer integrity.
O-ring installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or mechanical tradesperson. Before servicing, depressurize and drain the affected line or assembly fully to prevent injury. Lubricate the O-ring lightly with a compatible fluid before installation to avoid nicking or rolling the cross section during seating. Do not stretch the ring beyond its natural elasticity or use sharp tools that may cut the elastomer surface.
