The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70332 is a Dash 332 O-ring made from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), the most widely used elastomer in fluid sealing applications. It measures 2.375 inches inside diameter, 2.750 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches thick, with a round cross section. Rated at 70 Shore A hardness, this O-ring delivers reliable compression set resistance along with strong tear and abrasion resistance. It is compatible with petroleum-based fluids and operates across a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and hydraulic system mechanics rely on this grade for general-purpose sealing in a wide range of service environments.
This O-ring is suited for use in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant circuits, hydraulic lines, and pneumatic assemblies where petroleum-product compatibility is required. The Dash 332 sizing is a standard AS568 dimension, making it a common replacement in fittings, valves, pumps, and actuators. Sold in a package quantity of 25, it is appropriate for shop stock or multi-unit service calls. It meets SAE and MIL-Spec standards, which makes it acceptable for both commercial trade and light industrial use.
Compatible with petroleum-based fluids and products. Designed as a standard Dash 332 O-ring replacement suitable for fittings, valves, pumps, and other components requiring a 2.375-inch ID round-cross-section seal. Buna-N material should not be used with ozone-generating environments, direct sunlight exposure, or near motors and electrical equipment that may produce ozone.
O-ring installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician, plumber, or hydraulic technician familiar with the applicable system. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing or replacing any O-ring. Inspect the seating groove for damage, debris, or corrosion before installing the new ring. Avoid twisting or overstretching the O-ring during installation; a compatible lubricant approved for the system fluid type may be used to ease seating.
