The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70272 is a Dash 272 O-ring manufactured from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (Buna-N), the most widely used elastomer in fluid sealing applications. It features a 9.5-inch inside diameter, 9.75-inch outside diameter, and a 0.125-inch round cross section with a 70 durometer hardness rating. Buna-N compound delivers strong resistance to petroleum-based fluids, good compression set characteristics, and reliable tear and abrasion resistance across a working temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, hydraulic technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals install this type of seal in flanges, pump housings, valve bodies, and large-bore fluid connections.

This O-ring is suited for static and dynamic sealing applications involving petroleum products, hydraulic oils, and general industrial fluids. Its large diameter makes it appropriate for wide-bore flanged joints, large valve bonnets, pump covers, and industrial equipment where a reliable face or radial seal is required. The round cross section seats consistently in standard AS568 Dash 272 gland geometries. It is not recommended for exposure to ozone, direct sunlight during storage, or environments where strong oxidizing agents or ozone-generating electrical equipment are present.

Do not store O-rings near motors, electrical equipment, or in direct sunlight, as ozone and UV exposure degrade Buna-N compound over time.
