The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70136 is a Dash 136 Buna-N (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) O-ring engineered for use in fluid and pneumatic sealing applications across plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical service. It measures 2.0000 inches inside diameter and 2.1880 inches outside diameter, with a 0.0937-inch round cross section and a Shore A hardness rating of 70. Rated for service from -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, this O-ring delivers excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids along with strong compression set, tear, and abrasion resistance. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical service professionals use this O-ring as a standard sealing component in valves, fittings, pumps, and manifolds.
This O-ring is suited for residential and commercial sealing applications where exposure to petroleum products, oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids is expected. Its Buna-N elastomer compound is the most widely used O-ring material in trade service, making it a reliable choice for a broad range of maintenance and repair scenarios. Sold in a package quantity of 100 per order, it is appropriate for shop stocking, service vans, or bulk replacement jobs. Store away from direct sunlight and avoid proximity to motors or other ozone-generating electrical equipment.
Designed as a Dash 136 standard O-ring suitable for use in valves, pumps, fittings, and other components requiring a 2-inch ID round-cross-section seal in petroleum-compatible service environments.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified mechanical service personnel. Always depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing O-rings to prevent fluid release or injury. Inspect the mating groove for burrs, corrosion, or damage before seating the new O-ring. Do not stretch the O-ring beyond its natural limits during installation, and use only compatible lubricants rated for NBR compounds.
