The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH70129 is a Dash 129 Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR/Buna-N) O-ring designed for sealing applications in fluid and pneumatic systems. It measures 1.563 inches inside diameter, 1.750 inches outside diameter, and 0.0937 inches (3/32 inches) thick with a round cross section. Hardness is rated at 70 Shore A, placing it in the hard range for reliable compression set performance. NBR is the most widely used O-ring elastomer, offering excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids, strong tear and abrasion resistance, and dependable performance across a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F. This part ships in a package quantity of 100 units.
This O-ring is suited for use in hydraulic systems, pneumatic assemblies, fuel system components, and general industrial plumbing and fluid-handling equipment where petroleum-product exposure is expected. It is commonly installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals during pump, valve, and fitting service. The Dash 129 designation follows standard O-ring sizing, making it straightforward to source as a direct replacement in applications calling for that specification.
Designed for use in applications requiring a Dash 129 standard O-ring. Compatible with petroleum products and petroleum-based hydraulic fluids. Not recommended for use with ozone-generating environments or direct sunlight exposure during storage. FDA approval does not apply to this part.
Depressurize and drain the system fully before removing or installing any O-ring seal. Lubricate the O-ring lightly with a compatible fluid or O-ring lubricant before seating to prevent nicking or tearing during installation. Inspect the groove and mating surfaces for burrs or corrosion before fitting the new O-ring. Follow applicable codes such as IPC or equipment manufacturer service procedures for pressure-rated assemblies.
