The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCH2.5X16 is a Buna-N (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications across plumbing, HVAC, hydraulic, and industrial fluid systems. It measures 16 inches inside diameter, 21 inches outside diameter, and 2.5 inches thick with a round cross section. The material carries a Shore A hardness of 70, placing it in the hard durometer range. Its working temperature range spans -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide variety of service conditions. Plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and maintenance mechanics are the typical installers.

This O-ring is used wherever a large-diameter NBR seal is required — common applications include pump flanges, valve bonnets, large pipe unions, industrial equipment housings, and pool or water treatment system fittings. Its Buna-N compound provides excellent resistance to petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic oils, and lubricants, making it a standard choice in oil and gas, refrigeration, and general mechanical service. Installation Notes

Install by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or mechanical technician following applicable system codes. Shut off and depressurize the system and drain any fluid before replacing seals. Lubricate the O-ring with a compatible fluid during installation to prevent tearing or twisting in the groove. Do not store unused O-rings in direct sunlight or near motors or other electrical equipment that may generate ozone, as this degrades NBR elastomers.
