The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCFS364 is a fluorosilicone O-ring with a round cross section, engineered for static and dynamic sealing applications that demand both wide-temperature performance and resistance to fuels, oils, and solvents. It measures 6.75 inches inside diameter, 7.125 inches outside diameter, and 0.1875 inches thick, corresponding to Dash Number 364 in standard O-ring sizing. With a Shore A hardness of 70 and a rated temperature range of -80 degrees F to 400 degrees F, this O-ring is suited for demanding environments where standard nitrile or EPDM compounds fall short. It meets MIL-R-25988 TY 1 CL 1 requirements, making it appropriate for aerospace, military, and industrial fluid-handling assemblies. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial mechanics install this type of seal in high-heat and fuel-exposed systems.
This O-ring is used in applications requiring a large-diameter face seal or radial seal, including HVAC equipment, fuel system components, hydraulic assemblies, and industrial fluid transfer systems. Fluorosilicone compound is commonly selected when the sealing environment involves petroleum-based fuels or oils alongside elevated or sub-zero temperatures. The Dash 364 sizing is a recognized standard dimension, simplifying cross-referencing in maintenance and repair operations. It is sold and packaged individually, making it suitable for direct replacement work or low-volume service jobs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement O-ring for applications requiring a Dash 364 fluorosilicone seal in fuel, oil, or high-temperature fluid systems.
O-ring installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the sealing system being serviced. Depressurize and drain all fluid from the system before removing the existing seal. Inspect the gland and seating surfaces for wear, scoring, or contamination before installing the new O-ring. Apply a compatible lubricant to the O-ring during installation to prevent twisting or tearing, and confirm proper seating before returning the system to service.
