The VALUE COLLECTION ZMSCE70907 is a Dash 907 EPDM O-ring designed for static and dynamic sealing applications in fluid and hydraulic systems. Measuring 0.53 inches inside diameter, 0.688 inches outside diameter, and 0.082 inches thick, this round cross-section ring carries a 70 Shore A hardness rating, placing it in the hard range for dimensional stability under compression. EPDM construction provides strong resistance to hot water, steam, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ozone, and a range of acids and alkalies. Licensed trades including plumbers, HVAC techs, and hydraulic system technicians specify this ring where synthetic rubber compatibility with aggressive service fluids is required.
This O-ring is suited for use in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, steam service, and aircraft hydraulic systems using Skydrol fluids. Its EPDM compound performs across a wide service temperature range of -65 degrees F to 300 degrees F, making it appropriate for both low-temperature winterized systems and high-temperature steam or hot-water circuits. It is also specified as an O-ring boss gasket for straight-thread tube fittings. Each package contains 80 rings, supporting bulk service and repair inventory for shops and field technicians.
Compatible with hot water, steam, and phosphate ester type hydraulic fluid systems. Also resistant to select acids, alkalies, and ozone environments. Suitable as an O-ring boss gasket for straight-thread tube fittings.
Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and hydraulic system mechanics typically install O-rings of this type. Isolate and depressurize the system fully before removing any fitting or component. Inspect the mating groove and sealing surface for burrs or corrosion before seating the new ring. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants with EPDM; use a compatible assembly lubricant rated for EPDM and the service fluid present.
